About Me

Hi! I'm Kiley. From Midland, MI.

I've had a camera in my hands since I was about 12 years old. Always liked taking pictures, or posing for them. I got one of the first camera phones, and had one of the first low priced digital cameras, and was taking selfies long before Myspace was a thing!

I started learning Photoshop in 10th grade, and led a photography and editing workshop in a beginning journalism class. It's such a joy for me to do digital art. So, the love I have for photography, and the love I have for tech... I'm just oozing with passion for the art.

I got my professional start at Sears Portrait Studio in 2006. I took away a lot of wonderful lessons, and also what NOT to as an artist. I did a few commissioned shoots and weddings through the years, and am essentially self taught in everything I do. As I got busy with raising kids and life in general, I set my camera down. I didn't pick it up much until the pandemic.

Like so many of us, the year 2020 was transformative. I really began honoring my happiness, the joys of life, the wonderful gifts around me every day. After some pretty rough falls in early 2021, I found myself in a bad place. Lets call it an existential crisis, but much messier. I took the path of holistic healing through self development courses, self healing groups, and a lot of support. In doing so I gave myself permission to PLAY. Play without reservations. Play and enjoy it. Play and let gooooo. By doing this, I found my artistic passion again, and this time.... I let it blast out of me like light beams. So here I am. With a vision, and big dreams are coming a reality.

If you know me personally, you understand without question what "Kiley-esque" means. If you don't know me, allow me to let you in on it. I have a big personality. I go after I want, and I usually do not stop until I get it. I'm a dreamer, and strum my own tune. I'm totally comfortable being my real self almost all of the time. I like pretty things. Shiny things. Glitter is my favorite color. You could say I'm a bit "extra." Everything I produce, I add a little of that extra Kiley touch to make it sparkle, to make it a little "Kileyesque" if you will.
